The Conservatory was founded in 1995 to provide top notch musical instruction to individuals of all ages, goals, and abilities. PCM has brought that mission to life for the thousands of students who have taken lessons here over the last 15 years.

Currently, the Conservatory has six program areas:

Students across the region participate in Conservatory programs, which are offered to students of all ages, levels, and goals. We are proud that the breadth of our programs makes us unique among organizations in Maine. Whether you (or your kids) are just starting out on your instrument, or whether you have been playing for years and years, you can be sure that the Conservatory has the resources to meet your needs. PCM currently has more than 300 students annually from across the region, and has a faculty of Maine's most talented musicians.
