The Early Childhood Division prepares young students for later instrumental and vocal training. The one to seven year olds learn to understand musical concepts and includes the Suzuki method of violin, violincello and piano.

The Community Division is for everyone eight years and older, including adults and seniors, who wish to develop and improve musical skills.  Private lessons are supplemented by music theory, ear training, ensemble training, plus, opportunities to perform and attend concerts. Students of all levels are accepted.

The Professional Division develops the abilities of pre-college students with career potential from age 10. Saturday classes include chamber music, theory and ear training, composition, and master classes with special opportunities to perform. Auditions are required.

Any education at PCM provides individualized instruction with an outstanding faculty, an understanding of music, performances and other social experience to share the love of music. Registration is ongoing. Join the Portland Conservatory of Music today.
